Stories, news, writing tips & other fun stuff
Happy New Year! Every year, we sit around making resolutions and goals for the new year. How many do we keep, though? For me, resolutions don't usually last. Goals, on the other hand, are more manageable in my mind.
This year, I have a few goals. First, I plan on publishing the fourth and final book in the Isabella Howerton Series, Bloody Endings. I've been working on this book since this summer, with a break around November/December, and I'm so excited to complete it. This book will be the best of all, I think. New characters, plus some interesting developments with current characters. I hope you're as excited as I am.
In addition, I have a brand new series I plan to begin. I am so excited to bring this to you! Keep watching here for more details. I don't want to say much yet, but I am really excited for this one. I've been bouncing this idea around for two years, and I can't wait to start fully realizing it.
Other Worlds boxed set won't be available for much longer! If you want to get the FULL SET of ALL 20 stories, get it now! It's only $2.99! This USA Today Bestseller is available for only a limited time. My novella in the set, Claimed by Moonlight, starring fan favorite Jared, will be available solo, but you'll have to hunt for the rest of the books one by one.
Well, it's time for me to get back to writing. I hope you made some goals for yourself this year, and I hope we all stick to them. As best we can, anyway. Take care!
Bloody Defiance, Book 3 in the Isabella Howerton series will be available on Amazon Kindle starting April 10, 2017!
Read the book blurb here:
“Haven’t you figured it out yet, Isabella?” the vampire asked, suddenly flashing his fangs at me. “Everything comes down to blood. It’s the beginning of all life, as well as the end.”
Izzy is sick of vampire games, but what can she do? Kidnapped by Henri Donovan, she has been elevated to unwilling Queen of his vampires. It’s not a role she would choose, but thanks to vampire control, she doesn’t have a choice. Or does she?
Armies are being formed.
Weapons are being created.
Humanity is at stake.
Far from the werewolves in an unknown location, Izzy has no one to rely on but herself. Each choice is deadlier than the last and defying the vampires might cost her more than just her life. It may cost her very humanity.
I just wanted to give my loyal readers an update on book 3 of the Isabella Howerton series. I've been going through the last round of edits with my BETA readers. The book has a title, obviously, but it was not an easy thing. It started as Bloody Dreams, then bounced around from Bloody Desires, Bloody Decisions, etc. before finally settling on Bloody Defiance. I have the title for the fourth book ready, but really had a hard time with this one.
The book also has a cover, which I will be revealing very soon along with a release date.
Book 3 is told from two different points of view, which is a considerable difference from my other books, but needed to happen. I think you'll like the other POV! I was about halfway through writing this book when I realized I really needed the other POV. So, I went back and added it in.
Keep watching here for release date info and the first peek at the cover. Oh, the ideas I have for book 4... and beyond!
Thanks again for reading! Don't forget to share the love! How do you do this? Tweet my book, Share it on facebook, write a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads, and most importantly, tell your friends! Word of mouth is the best assistance to an indie author.
It's been an exciting summer so far! My second book in the Isabella Howerton series, Bloody Consequences, is now available for pre-order! Release date is August 17, 2015!

Thank you to all of my readers! I love to write, but it's so much better to have an audience to write for! Every time I get a new review, I feel like a kid at Christmas! Thanks again, and feel free to contact me via email, Facebook or Twitter! I'd love to hear from you.
